⦁ Possess a degree/diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
⦁ 1 to 3 years of experience in Data Centre operations. Experience in 24×7 Data Centre Operations support; including daily operation check and monitoring, ControlM, tape management, IT batch jobs/events management, physical security monitoring, Data Centre access and facilities administration, password management, systems alerts monitoring and escalation.
⦁ Perform daily IT operational tasks, such as backup initiation, shutdown/restart of servers, databases, application jobs etc.
⦁ Support application development team in the roll-out of new applications, program migration and job scheduling.
⦁ Perform first level of troubleshooting of systems, network, database and application support.
⦁ Follow documented support procedures for incident management, identifying root cause, resolving incidents and escalation to Level 2/Level 3 IT technical teams according to SLA.
⦁ Review and maintain technical documentation for processes and procedures used for Data Centre operations.
⦁ Good knowledge and exposure on network cabling standards. Familiar with installation practices and common IT technology platforms, e.g. Windows, Cloud, NT, Unix, Storage, Database, Network etc.
⦁ Work shift duties, able to adapt to flexible work schedule and work additional hours when required.
⦁ Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies and procedures.
⦁ Good understanding of ITIL processes, with experience in an ITIL based environment. Good written and communication skills.
